Blue Hyacinth in Blue Bowl

Blue Hyacinths are one of my favourite indoor blubs to brighten any February or March day. I collect blue and white ceramics and love them even more if they are vintage! So this was an uplifting subject to paint, it has a fresh blue palette with undertones of violet.
This painting is oil with a cold wax finish on board. Unframed it measures 50cm x 60cm and it is framed in a off white wooden framed 7cm wide the finished size with frame is 64cm x 74cm.
